Hello!
I’m Wandering Fox. Many people, upon hearing the name Wandering Fox, might imagine a cunning or fierce fox. But actually, the "Fox" in “Wandering Fox” refers to a Tibetan sand fox – living in the desolate, cold highlands of Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, and so on. They are accustomed to harsh terrains, hiding among the grasslands and rocky mountains, and rarely come into contact with humans. They especially have a perpetually dazed, slightly goofy face that is super funny.
I chose this name because I see myself in it; I’m a bit dazed and love nature, enjoying wandering through the mountains and forests.
I began my journeys with backpacking and trekking, carrying a backpack, a pair of shoes, and a heart full of wanderlust.
For over 10 years, I have traveled countless routes – camping in deep forests, climbing mountains and crossing streams in the high peaks of Lao Cai and Yen Bai; riding around Cao Bang, Ha Giang, through the Central region, to nights spent stargazing on mountain tops in Ta Xua, Moc Chau, Y Ty… My journey has always been connected to nature, to villages, and to simple things.
From traveler to guide
After many years of wandering on my own, I realized that nature is not only beautiful but also healing. Those who are weary from urban life, when they go to the mountains, breathe in the fresh air, and hear the sound of flowing streams and rustling winds… feel a sense of relief.
Therefore, I am currently organizing small tours to take companions to places where nature is still quite pristine and original, such as:
Cao Bang – with its waterfalls, caves, and jade-green lakes.
Ha Giang – home to majestic rocky mountain ranges and villages hidden in the clouds.
Ba Be – a peaceful land by the lake, where the Tay and Dao people live harmoniously with the mountains and forests.
Moc Chau – with tea hills, plum blossoms, and misty mornings full of poetry.
Mu Cang Chai – where the terraced fields curve like golden waves against the sky.
Cuc Phuong National Park in the season of golden butterflies...
So you can see for yourself how beautiful your country is. It’s not just the scenery, but also the people, the local culture, the gentle smile of an elderly Hmong woman, the sound of pounding rice in a Thai village, the fragrant corn wine by the fire. Another reason is that I have also experienced fatigue and found peace in nature, so I want to share that with those who need it.
There were nights in the past when we didn't need any lights at all... just a few fireflies flickering by the rice fields would light up the whole world. Now the streets are brightly lit, but... See more
