Song Chong Village

Bản Sồng Chống is a peaceful village belonging to Xím Vàng commune, Bắc Yên district, Sơn La province. Located about 11–18 km from the center of Tà Xùa, this place impresses with its winding terraced fields, floating sea of clouds, and majestic mountain scenery. It is also the long-standing home of the H'Mong ethnic group, which still preserves many unique traditional cultural features.

At an altitude of nearly 1,500 m above sea level, Bản Sồng Chống has a cool climate year-round. Especially in September–October, the entire village is dyed yellow by the ripe rice season, creating a beautiful natural painting. By around February, peach and plum blossoms bloom brightly across the hillsides, turning this place into an ideal destination for those who love the beauty of the Northwest spring.

The village is located on the route from Tà Xùa to Xím Vàng, making it very convenient to combine sightseeing in the journey to explore Bắc Yên. Besides enjoying the scenery and taking photos, visitors can also relax at homestays with beautiful mountain views like Amazing Samu, enjoying the fresh air and cloud hunting right in front of the house.

Amazing Samu is part of an agricultural and tourism service cooperative established and operated by young H'Mong people.

Staying at Amazing Samu Homestay – stepping outside embraces the stunning view of the terraced fields during the ripe rice/water pouring season. The homestay is ideally located, making it easy for you to move to famous check-in coordinates like Mâm Xôi hill and the super poetic Hây Hây Meadow Cafe without worrying about distant roads.

If you are looking for a destination that still retains its pristine beauty, tranquility, and rich highland identity, Bản Sồng Chống is definitely a coordinate not to be missed when visiting Tà Xùa and Xím Vàng.
