Cocimo Sour Shrimp – NATURAL FERMENTED SPECIALTY, AUTHENTIC FLAVOR OF HOMELAND
Cocimo Sour Shrimp is made from fresh white leg shrimp, selected in size from 60–100 pieces/kg. The shrimp are cleaned, heads removed, and carefully processed to ensure the natural crunchiness and sweetness of the shrimp meat is preserved.
After preliminary processing, the shrimp are soaked in pure fish sauce combined with natural spices: ginger, garlic, galangal, chili… to support the natural fermentation process. The shrimp jars are sun-dried for 7–10 days, without cooking or pressure cooking, preserving the traditional flavor that is true to Central Vietnam.
The difference of Cocimo Sour Shrimp
No preservatives used – the shrimp are naturally preserved with non-spicy chili and iodized salt.
Packaged in high-quality PET jars, with a convenient flip-top lid, ensuring hygiene – luxurious, can be reused as a spice container or as a gift.
High shrimp ratio of 60%, firm shrimp meat, not mushy, with naturally thick shrimp juice.
Natural fermentation gives a harmonious balance of sour – sweet – mild fatty flavors, not harsh.
Storage & usage instructions
Store in the refrigerator to maintain stable flavor and reduce acidity from fermentation.
Expiration date: 12 months from the production date.
When eating, you can add lime or sugar to taste.
