🍃 White Tea Buds - a precious gift from the vast forests that nature bestows upon the land of Ha Giang.

White tea buds are the rare and precious buds of ancient wild tea trees, only growing naturally scattered at the peaks of Tay Con Linh and Chieu Lau Thi in Ha Giang province, (formerly) at an altitude of over 2000m, where mist and clouds cover year-round. White Tea Buds are harvested once a year in winter.

White Tea Buds have white tea shoots that are young leaves covered in fine hairs and have very low caffeine content. The white buds of white tea glisten like dew – hence tea makers call them “Fairy Buds.” Harvesting must be gentle – at the right moment, then the buds are spread thin – air-dried – lightly roasted to lock in the aroma. White tea buds require minimal intervention: the more simplified, the better the clarity of the water and the smoothness of the taste. Each pot of White Tea Buds is a slice of the morning: refined, pure, and peaceful.
