From a distance, this place surprises many with its wild and majestic scenery – blue sea, rocky cliffs, and an open sky. At first glance, one might think they are standing in a corner of Phu Yen, but in fact, this is Hon La port of Quang Tri (formerly Quang Binh).

The sea here is quite sheltered, with clear blue water, surrounded by limestone cliffs with unusual shapes interspersed among lush green trees. Prominently above is the sovereignty flagpole, standing tall amidst the sky and sea, creating a scene that is both peaceful and full of pride.

Not too crowded, Hon La still retains the pristine beauty of the Central Coast – a place where just standing still to watch the waves and the wind is enough to lighten one’s heart.
