Firefly Tour in Cuc Phuong
From April to June each year is the best time for visitors to see fireflies lighting up the Cuc Phuong forest at night. Starting from early April, Cuc Phuong National Park opens night tours for visitors to experience watching fireflies and observing wildlife. The tour runs daily and starts at 7 PM, divided into different time slots.
1. Time
The firefly season in Cuc Phuong forest lasts from April to June. The best time to see fireflies is from 7 PM to 9 PM.
2. Ticket price
The entrance fee to the National Park is 60,000 VND/person, and the night tour ticket is 120,000 VND/person.
3. Night tour activities
The tour length is 5km, and visitors take an electric vehicle to the sightseeing spots with a guide. Besides fireflies, the night tour also gives visitors the opportunity to see species such as deer, wild boar, pangolin, civet, and wild cats... learn about insects and nightlife in the vast forest.
