Golden Xím Tà Xùa – A Peaceful Corner As Beautiful As A Painting That Anyone Should Visit From July To October.

If you have the chance to visit Xím Vàng from July to October, I think you should definitely not miss Xím Vàng – a place that still retains its pristine beauty and tranquility amidst the mountains of the Northwest. It is about 20 km from the center of Tà Xùa and about 15 km from the peak of Gió, famous for its beautiful honeycomb-shaped terraced fields, creating a scene that is both majestic and poetic.

The road to Xím Vàng is now much more convenient than when I first visited about 5 years ago. Both cars and motorbikes can easily reach here. Just go straight to Xím Vàng Kindergarten and then turn left to get to the honeycomb field area. However, the last stretch of road is quite steep and narrow, so if you are not confident in your driving skills, you can park your vehicle above and use the local people's motorbike taxi service for about 50,000 VND for a round trip. If you enjoy sightseeing, you can also walk for about 10 minutes, breathing in the fresh air while fully appreciating the beauty of the mountains and forests.

The thing I like most about Xím Vàng is the Honeycomb Station. From here, you can gaze at the winding terraced fields amidst the mountains, capturing beautiful photos from every angle. The café is beautifully decorated, with drinks and dishes carefully prepared, creating a feeling that is both chill and close to nature. If you plan to have lunch here, remember to book in advance as the café is often quite crowded on weekends and during the tourist season.

Right near the Xím Vàng area, there are many attractions worth combining in the same journey. I suggest you visit the waterfall located right by the road or explore the Nameless Waterfall (also known as Chua Tỳ Waterfall) with its cool water flowing year-round. Additionally, this area has beautiful old apple orchards like Happy Town Tà Xùa – Joyful Town, a suitable place for strolling, taking photos, and experiencing the peaceful life of the local people.

If you want to spend more time exploring Xím Vàng, you can stay overnight at Paang Village. This is a homestay that I am very impressed with due to its beautifully designed space, close to nature. Especially, the cloud hunting view here is very beautiful; in the early morning, just open the door to see the floating sea of clouds amidst the mountains and forests.

Although the road to Xím Vàng is now much better, you should still drive carefully. The route has many steep passes, sharp turns, and on foggy days, visibility can be significantly reduced. Therefore, check your vehicle before going, maintain a safe speed, and prioritize traveling during the day for a complete exploration trip.

For me, Xím Vàng is not only a beautiful check-in spot but also a place to feel the peace and simplicity of Tà Xùa. If you love the roads of the Northwest, enjoy terraced fields, cloud hunting, and seek a small corner that still retains its pristine nature, then Xím Vàng will definitely be a worthwhile stop to experience in your journey to explore Tà Xùa.
