Tips for hunting the Milky Way at Ba Quáng grass hill.

1. Time and Place
Time: From March to October (peak summer) is when the core of the Milky Way is most visible at night.
Moon: Avoid full moon days, choose the beginning or end of the month when the moon sets early or hasn't risen yet for the darkest sky.

2. Supporting Tools
Apps: PhotoPills, Stellarium, Sky Guide, or Light Pollution Map to find the location and time of rise.
Equipment: DSLR/Mirrorless camera, wide-angle lens, large aperture, sturdy tripod, remote shutter release, phone with long exposure mode.

A tripod is very important to keep the camera steady, avoiding shake and allowing for long exposure

Mode: Manual (M), shoot in RAW for the best post-processing.
Aperture: Open as wide as possible
