🏡 The peaceful ancient village of Ma Lé in the rocky highlands of Hà Giang

On the journey to the flagpole of Lũng Cú, about 14km from Đồng Văn town, there is a very “lovely” stop that many people often miss: the ancient village of Má Lé. The small village is nestled among the majestic rocky mountains, exuding an ancient, pristine, and serene beauty — the kind of peace that naturally makes you want to slow down.

What is special about Má Lé is that the village space still retains its old charm with about 40 ancient wooden stilt houses built in the style of the Tày people. The deep red tiled roofs, wide windows, high floors… stepping inside, you immediately sense the “scent of time.” Inside the house, traditional items such as oil lamps, brassware, porcelain, embroidered paintings… are meticulously preserved, creating a picture that is both warm and harmonious with the mountainous nature.
