One of the hottest destinations in Cao Bang - Thung Mountain (Eye Mountain)

Eye Mountain is a mountain located in the valley of Ban Danh village, Tra Linh, Cao Bang.

At first glance, Eye Mountain in Cao Bang looks like any other ordinary mountain. However, near the peak of the mountain, a round hole resembling an "eye" looking down at Thang Hen Lake has been discovered. This hole has a diameter of over 50 meters, contributing to the unique mark of Thung Mountain in Cao Bang. You can walk for about 30 minutes to reach the peak of Thung Mountain and encounter the tunnel that forms that hole.

Eye Mountain is part of the Thang Hen Lake Complex and the Cao Bang Geopark. Therefore, this place boasts a rich natural landscape with majestic mountains, crystal-clear lakes, and vast grassy fields stretching endlessly.

Eye Mountain in Cao Bang is called Phja Piót by the locals, which in the Tay language means a mountain with a hole.
