🌱 LE NIN STREAM – A POETIC BEAUTY IN THE ANCIENT MOUNTAINS OF HÙNG VĨ (PÁC BÓ, CAO BẰNG)
In the mountains of Pác Bó, Le Nin Stream appears like a “green gem” of Cao Bằng: crystal clear water, so blue that you can see the bottom, the shadows of trees gently cast down, and the sound of the stream trickling like a soft melody in the vast wilderness. Standing here, you naturally feel your heart slow down – peaceful in a very real way.
Few people know that the stream was formerly named Khuổi Giàng – meaning “heavenly stream.” In 1941, when President Hồ Chí Minh returned to the homeland and lived and worked in Pác Bó cave, he named the stream Le Nin, and the mountain behind it as Karl Marx – names associated with revolutionary ideals and the journey to find a way to save the nation.
From the center of Cao Bằng city, travel about 51km along route ĐT203 to Trường Hà commune (Hà Quảng) to arrive.
A trip not only to admire the scenery but also to listen to history whispering in the green forest. 💚
