The early days of the year in the highlands always have a unique charm. And for the volunteers of the Cloud Classroom ⛅️, it is not just about teaching – but also a journey of living with the local culture.

Accompanying the Tuyen Quang Tourism Association, the volunteers had the opportunity to participate and support many traditional festivals rich in ethnic identity.

🌸 The Hong Thai Pear Blossom Festival – held in Hong Thai every spring
When the hills are covered with pear blossoms, volunteers accompany the locals in activities to promote images, support welcoming guests, and capture beautiful moments of the flower season.
For many young people, this is the first time witnessing a highland festival without a grand stage, but full of vibrant and authentic cultural materials.

🌾 The Long Tong Festival – organized in Lam Binh commune
This is the festival of rice planting of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups, expressing the hope for a year of favorable weather and bountiful harvests.
Volunteers not only participate as tourists but also support communication, connect with visitors, experience folk games, and listen to Then melodies in the northern mountains.
In that cultural space, English, Vietnamese, and ethnic languages intertwine – creating a beautiful picture of the cultural promotion of the highlands.
