PURPLE OF TAM COC - LOTUS SEASON IN THE WAY

When the weather turns to autumn, Tam Coc – Bich Dong (Ninh Binh) puts on a dreamy purple dress of lotus season. On the gentle Ngo Dong River, small boats weave between two towering limestone cliffs, carrying the brilliant purple color of each bunch of lotus just picked, creating a magical painting in the heart of the mountains and rivers.

The people here still work diligently every early morning, rowing boats to pick water lilies when the mist still covers the water surface. The purple water lilies bloom, their fragile yet graceful petals rising from the clear water as if telling a peaceful story of the northern countryside.
