I arrived at the H'Mong cultural village of Pả Vi on a foggy day, and it truly felt like stepping into a historical film.
The village is located in the valley, surrounded by cat ear mountains, near the Mã Pí Lèng Pass and the Nho Quế River.
Everything here is very “real” - the wooden houses, the wall houses, the stone fences,....
In the afternoon, sitting in the communal yard, watching people come and go, listening to the sound of the wind, everything seems to slow down a beat. If you visit at the right time, you might also see traditional dances or the unique Gầu Tào festival of the H'Mong people.
If you stay a little longer, move a little slower, you will begin to feel its charm even more.
A place that has mountains, rivers, and culture… but still maintains a very unique tranquility.
I heard that in 2025, Pả Vi will be chosen as one of the best community tourism spots in Vietnam. But for me, the title is not that important.
What matters is the feeling when standing there, as if I am stepping into a film reel, but it’s a reel where I truly get to live in it.
