Located on the Happy Road connecting Đồng Văn and Mèo Vạc, Mã Pì Lèng Pass is considered one of the famous "four great mountain passes" of the northern mountainous region.
At an altitude of nearly 1,500m above sea level, Mã Pì Lèng impresses with its steep rock cliffs, winding bends among the clouds, and the majestic scenery typical of the Đồng Văn stone plateau.
From the top of the pass, looking down, the Nho Quế River flows emerald green, winding through the deep Tu Sản gorge, creating a scene that is both magnificent and poetic. This is also one of the most famous check-in spots when traveling to Hà Giang.
Not only does Mã Pì Lèng possess impressive landscapes, but it also holds special historical significance. This road is the result of thousands of youth volunteers and local people who spent many years clinging to the cliffs to open a path through the treacherous mountains.
Today, Mã Pì Lèng is not only a famous destination in Hà Giang but also a place that makes many tourists want to return to once again admire the majestic beauty of the northern mountainous region.
