Born in the peaceful village of An Xa, Vo Nguyen Giap – the legendary General of the Vietnamese nation, grew up in a simple, rustic house rich in patriotic tradition. Today, the house belongs to the Memorial House of General Vo Nguyen Giap in Loc Thuy commune, Le Thuy district (formerly) and is still preserved intact as a symbol of history and national pride.

Not only is it a place that preserves the childhood memories of a great military leader, but it has also become a meaningful destination for every Vietnamese to return to, to pause in the simple space and gain a deeper understanding of a person who has made glorious pages of history.
