One-day exploration schedule of Cuc Phuong during the butterfly season

5:30 AM: Depart from Hanoi to Ninh Binh.

8 AM: Arrive at Cuc Phuong National Park. Buy tickets and then move to visit the ancient human cave, the arrowroot tree, the ancient trees in the forest, the Bống center,...

You can walk into the forest to enjoy the scenery, admire the 1000-year-old chò tree, the cluster of 5 ancient chò trees,... However, to cover the distance to see the 1000-year-old chò tree will take about 3 hours of hiking in the forest, so please consider your time and health.

10 AM - 2 PM: Go butterfly hunting at Mac Lake, the ancient human cave entrance, the swamp, along the way,...

(For lunch, you can order food in the national park, but during the butterfly hunting season with many tourists, you may have to wait quite a long time. You can bring food for a picnic or take photos and then move outside for lunch).

3 PM: Go to Chau Son monastery to take photos from many beautiful angles.

Or visitors can choose to stay at Cuc Phuong National Park to participate in the night firefly hunting tour.

5 PM: Move back to Hanoi, ending the trip (if participating in the night tour, you will move back to Hanoi around 10 PM).
