At the Hue Spring Festival 2026, the Horse symbol attracts attention not because of its realism, but due to its approach to symbolic design. Instead of mimicking the shape of a real horse, the creative team chose to view the symbol as a cultural icon – where spirit and aesthetics are prioritized over realism.

The inspiration is distilled from the history – culture – art of Vietnam, with a focus on the aesthetic system of Hue.
Every line, pattern, and color palette has been researched from: The symbol of the mascot in Vietnamese culture, architectural patterns & royal court costumes of the Nguyen dynasty, materials and traditional handicraft techniques of the ancient capital.

All of this is transformed through contemporary design language, creating a restrained – elegant – deeply rich icon. The symbol does not flaunt, but carries a beauty that is very Hue: gentle, sophisticated yet full of character.

A symbol not just to admire, but to feel the spirit of Hue in every detail.
