From Local Tourism to Local Digital Infrastructure
Today, September 02, 2026, we officially mark the Birth of BAB Local.
After the phase of building the foundation, developing technology, and perfecting the model, BAB Local officially embarks on a new journey: bringing technology into reality, starting from Ha Giang.
BAB Local was born from a question:
How can the true values of each locality be digitized, connected, and developed more robustly in the digital space?
We chose Local Tourism as the starting point.
Because behind a destination, there is not only beautiful scenery. There are also people, culture, cuisine, products, services, businesses, and an entire local economy.
Therefore, BAB Local does not want to stop at just a tourism application.
We aim to build a LOCAL DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURE.
A place where local data is digitized.
A place where people and businesses have digital profiles.
A place where products, services, and destinations are connected.
A place where the community can explore – experience – connect – promote – transact within the same ecosystem.
From there, technology becomes a bridge for local values to be seen, connected, and taken further.
Today, BAB Local is still in its early steps.
We start from Ha Giang, implement in reality, listen to the community, perfect the model, and gradually move towards the next localities.
Every great journey needs a first day.
