Route 1: From the center of Tà Xùa commune, head towards the commune's People's Committee, continue to the intersection, then turn right towards the cloud-hunting spot in the East of Tà Xùa. Continue towards the hydroelectric dam to reach Mỏm Cá Heo.

Route 2: From Bắc Yên town, head up to Tà Xùa commune, turn right towards Shan Tuyết tea hill. Going straight along this route will successively lead to Mỏm Cá Heo and Cây Cô Đơn.

The road is quite wide, with gentle slopes, making it suitable for both motorbikes and cars.

The best time to visit

The period from October to April is the best season to explore Mỏm Cá Heo.

This is also the famous cloud-hunting season in Tà Xùa, when the weather is dry, the sky is clear, and the sea of clouds appears frequently.

If you want to capture the best photos, you should visit around 6:00–8:00 AM, when the sunrise just rises and the sea of clouds still covers the valleys.

The afternoon around 4:30–5:30 PM is also an ideal time to watch the sunset and the golden sunlight covering the mountain ranges.
