Cuc Phuong can be visited year-round, but each season has its own value. From April to June is the butterfly season – a time when thousands of butterflies appear, creating a rare vibrant scene.

The dry season (from October to April of the following year) is the ideal time for trekking activities as the forest paths are dry and easy to navigate. Meanwhile, the rainy season helps the vegetation thrive, suitable for those who love exploring pristine nature.

• Entrance fee to the national park is about 60,000 VND/person. If participating in specialized activities such as long trekking, hiring a guide, or staying in the forest, costs can increase from 300,000 to 1,000,000 VND/person.
• Food costs range from 100,000 to 300,000 VND/person. The total cost for a day trip usually falls between 300,000 and 800,000 VND/person, depending on the level of experience.
