1. Overview of Son Tra Peninsula

Son Tra Peninsula is located about 10km from the center of Da Nang, likened to the “green lung” of the city thanks to its rich ecosystem and diverse natural landscapes. This is an important nature reserve with many rare species of flora and fauna.

2. Ecosystem and Natural Values

Son Tra is home to the red-shanked douc langur – a rare primate species known as the “queen of primates.” In addition, there are pristine forests, untouched beaches, and a diverse marine ecosystem.

3.1. Linh Ung Pagoda

Linh Ung Pagoda is famous for having the tallest statue of the Goddess of Mercy in Vietnam, facing the sea, bringing a sense of peace and sanctity.

Ban Co Peak is an ideal place to admire the panoramic view of Da Nang from above, especially at sunrise or sunset.

6. Cuisine When Exploring Son Tra

The Son Tra area is famous for fresh seafood such as shrimp, crab, and squid… prepared right at the beachside restaurants. Additionally, local specialties from Da Nang like Quang noodles and pork rice paper rolls are also worth trying.

  • Entrance fee: free (some places have a small fee)
  • Motorbike rental: 120,000 – 180,000 VND/day
  • Food: 150,000 – 400,000 VND/person
