Our first steps take us through the pristine old forest, where sunlight filters through the leaves, gently falling on the cool, damp path. The sounds of forest birds, the rustling of dry leaves underfoot – all senses seem to awaken.

Going deeper, the group stops under the hundreds-of-years-old Shan snow tea trees. The trunks are covered in moss, and the branches spread wide as if to shelter the entire mountain area. This is not just a tea tree, but a part of the soul of Kuoi My – where people live with the forest, protect the forest, and grow up with the forest.

The trekking path continues through the lush green bamboo forest, with tall bamboo stalks swaying gently like whispers. Occasionally, a small stream appears, crystal clear water flowing over large moss-covered stones. The group stops by the waterfall, washes their faces, rests, and feels the rare, pristine coolness.

Leaving the forest, the peaceful village of Kuoi My comes into view. The moss-covered houses, stone steps winding along the mountainside, and a small garden bursting with flowers in front of the porch. The villagers are simple, their smiles gentle like the morning sun. No noise, no rush – just a slow pace of life, enough to bring peace to the heart.
