Hà Giang - The starting point for the BAB Local journey.

I am Lập, the Founder/CEO of the BAB Local project, and Hà Giang – the land at the northernmost tip of the country – is the starting point for our journey to promote and develop local tourism that we have envisioned.

We did not choose Hà Giang because it is already famous. We chose Hà Giang because it has enough identity, depth, and aspiration to tell a very different tourism story – the story of its people, culture, and sustainable livelihoods.

BAB Local was born with a clear belief:

👉 Local tourism can only truly develop when the locals are at the center.

👉 Cultural values are not just for viewing; they need to be told correctly – authentically – and sustainably spread.

👉 Technology does not replace people; it is a tool for connecting – standardizing – and elevating.

In Hà Giang, BAB Local starts with very basic things:

Accompanying businesses, local households, homestays, tour guides, and those creating local products...

Standardizing personal and local business brand stories

Connecting tourism – services – products within a common ecosystem

Promoting through real stories, real experiences, and real values

Hà Giang is not just a destination.

Hà Giang is a living ecosystem, where every resident can become a “tourism ambassador” in their own way.

From Hà Giang, BAB Local aims for a journey through 34 provinces – each locality with its own identity, each community with its own story, and all sharing a common aspiration: to develop sustainable, deep, and future-oriented local tourism.

BAB Local does not rush. We choose to go right – and to go together.
